 Robert Verb will present a multimedia program on his involvement in the processes and engineering of the beryllium mirror segments of the $10 billion James Webb space telescope. Verb is a retired U.S. Army officer and engineering graduate of the University of Toledo. He was responsible for providing the correct chemical mixture, processing the material, and follow-up through the machining and shipping of the beryllium mirrors to NASA.
